C4C (Case for Christ)

A Bible Club for ITA students interested in fellowship and study of the Bible. The club meets to pray, read scriptures, and to discuss a wide range of issues related to their faith. The club is open to all students at ITA.

DECA

DECA is a student run organization that will help you build leadership, business, and marketing skills all while having fun. Opportunities include community service projects, starting and running a business, and creating promotional literature and events for local business clients.

The experience that you gain in DECA will assist you in your college and professional life beyond high school. There are scholarship and networking opportunities that will help you get into college, pay for college, and land your first job out of college (DECA = Distributive Education Clubs of America).

FBLA - Future Business Leaders of America

The purpose of the FBLA Chapter is to provide additional opportunities for postsecondary and college students to develop vocational competencies for business and office occupations and business teacher education. FBLA is an integral part of the instructional program and in addition promotes a sense of civic and personal responsibility. Some specific goals of FBLA are to develop competent and aggressive business leadership, strengthen the confidence of students in themselves and their work, and create more interest in and understanding of American business enterprise. FBLA also facilitates the transition from school to work and assist students with the establishment of occupational goals.

The purposes of Freshman Mentors is to share and make the incoming freshman middle school to high school transition a success.

Friends Of Rachael

Rachel Scott, the first student murdered at Columbine, wrote an essay a month before her death challenging others to start a chain reaction of compassion and kindness. The five specific challenges encompass areas such as the power of influence, the importance of goal setting and journaling, the removal of prejudice and bullying, and creating a safe and positive climate in the school. Friends of Rachel meets every Tuesday before school and once a month after school to promote Rachel’s Challenges. Activities include socials (movie nights, game nights), promoting Red Ribbon Week, hosting an annual school-wide activity encouraging a safe and drug-free student body, etc. All students are welcome. Games Club

Games Club is open to all ITA students interested in hanging out an hour after school once a week to play video games. The type of game systems we use are Playstaion 2, XBOX 360, Nintendo Game Cube and Wii. Members volunteer to provide the equipment, including what games to be played on each system. It costs $5 to join for the purchase of snacks and new members are always welcome.

Latino Pride

Latino Pride Club serves many functions. It is a service organization that helps in the Kenosha community during the school year and also regularly raises money for its annual holiday gifts to the Spanish Center's Outreach program. Latino Pride members have also assisted other clubs at ITA events. The students have benefited from invitations to hear speakers from higher education and summer enrichment programs. An annual spring field trip usually involves a trip to a museum or performance in Chicago or Milwaukee.

Science Olympiad

ITA Science OlymiafScience Olympiad is an activity at Indian Trail Academy that celebrates our student's passion for science by participating in competitions that include life science, earth/space science, physical science, chemistry, technology and inquiry. Their are two competitions. There is the Regional Competition at the University Wisconsin Milwaukee. Here the students compete in the same events as state but with a smaller competition pool. They also get to practice the events. Students receive metals for the first three places. State competition takes place at either UW-Madison or UW-Stout and usually requires an overnight stay. Students who have participated in the past have brought home medals in Disease Detectives, Experimental Design and Ecology. View the State Science Olympiad Web Site

Ski and Snowboard Club

Ski and Snowboard Club is open to all ITA students and staff. Our annual ski trip is an evening spent at Wilmot Ski Mountain where participants receive a chair lift discount and an optional free lesson for beginners or advanced. There is a cheaper rate for those that have their own equipment. With enough participation, we are also able to offer other various day long ski trips to a variety of ski hill resorts.
