Internship
House Internship:
Mrs. Osenga - House of Biotechnology and Military Academy students.
Mr. Bloedorn - House of Business and House of Communications students.
Regular Internship is an opportunity to use the part time job you already have for credit in school, or use this time to volunteer in the community or in our school. If your job is house-related, it may be possible to acquire a State Youth Apprenticeship Certificate, which gives a person advanced standing at Wisconsin Technical Colleges. You will spend one quarter in class, learning about yourself and putting together an employment portfolio, exploring how to find out about jobs, techniques for applying for jobs, and interviewing techniques. The rest of the year you work your job and meet for class once per month, called mandatory days. You can sign up for this class as a junior and/or as a senior.

Video Announcements:(House of Communications students only)
The Announcements internship at ITA is an advanced level television production opportunity. The class produces live announcement broadcasts to the entire school from our on-site television studio. These programs include daily announcements, pledge to the flag, weather, and special taped productions created by students. Class size is strictly limited.
Digital Productions:(House of Communications students only):
This is a very unique class, in that students are in charge of soliciting video projects from outside sources. They then go through the entire videomaking process including, but not limited to: script writing, storyboarding, taping, editing, and presentation of the final product. This is a "for-profit" business, with all proceeds going directly into the video production company's fund. This money is then used to purchase new equipment for all of the multimedia classes. Students are in charge from beginning to end, so this is a great experience, designed to give the students a glimpse of life in the "real world" before they actually have to venture out.
