Guidelines for Student Project Videos
Who can submit videos for display on the ITA web site?
In general, videos will be displayed on the ITA school web site when they are submitted to the ITA web master by an ITA teacher. Teachers should choose videos that exemplify a high standard of work. There is a limit of three videos for each class project per year, so please choose wisely.
What are the video posting requirements?
Permission: Make sure that the student is comfortable with their work being displayed on the ITA web site and that they have not opted out of the student work display policy. Ask Janet for the list if you are uncertain.
Format: Acceptable video file formats are .mov, .dv and .avi. Other formats may be allowed, please contact the webmaster to find out. Do not deliver movies in the iMovie format, export first. When exporting from iMovie use the "Full Quality" setting.
Presentation: Videos should always begin with a title page containing class and project name. Student names should be limited to first name and last name initial only. All borrowed work should be cited at the end. The ITA web site can be viewed by the public and it is important that visitors can make a connection with the the respective course's curriculum.
Delivery: Please deliver video files to the web master on a flash (usb style) drive. Feel free to have a student drop them off for download anytime during the school day. Please do NOT send video files in an email.
